Bank of India(Boi) has turned the corner as the company reported net profit of Rs 251.8 crore in the quarter ended March 2019 against the loss of Rs 3,969 crore in a year ago period.
The net interest income (NII) of the company rose 57.7 percent to Rs 4,044.4 crore against Rs 2,564 crore from a year ago period.
Company's net NPA was down at 5.61 percent against 5.87 percent, while gross NPA down was at 15.84 percent versus 16.31 percent, QoQ.
In the absolute term company's net NPA was down to Rs 19,119 crore, while gross NPA was down to Rs 60,661 crore.
The company's provisions stood at Rs 1,897.4 crore versus Rs 9,001 crore in the December quarter.
